First light on Paine Grande and the Cuernos del Paine, mirrored in a still lake near Explora Patagonia.

Sunrise in Patagonia, in Chile's Torres del Paine National Park. First light catches the snow on Paine Grande, at left, and the sharp towers of the Cuernos del Paine, at center, turning them pink and orange against a still-pale sky.

The lake in the foreground is calm enough to hold the whole ridge upside down, alpenglow included.
