Hostería Pehoé,
across the footbridge.
An island hotel in Lake Pehoé, where the location is completely unrivaled and the burger is the thing to order.

The location of Hostería Pehoé is completely unrivaled. The hotel sits on a small island in Lake Pehoé, in Torres del Paine National Park, and you literally walk over a footbridge to get there.

Once you’re across, it’s cobblestones everywhere, so your luggage is going to bang around a bit. But you cannot beat the view and the location: the Cuernos del Paine rise straight across the lake.
The hotel has been there for quite some time; my guess is that it was built in the 1960s. The dining room has some amazing chairs that are hand carved, and each one is unique and special.
The hours for food are very limited. The best thing to get there, I personally think, is the burger.
